Timber Creek Condominiums

Timber Creek Condominiums | West Dover, VT | 2012

An existing Public Community water system serving 212 residential condominiums and a club house experienced low pressure problems in portions of the system. We prepared a hydraulic model (EPANET) to simulate a proposed high pressure zone created by a proposed booster pump station and isolation valves. Our preliminary engineering report discussed the model findings, fire flow, alternative energy, proposed water main and pump station layout, design criteria for the booster pump station and cost estimates. Final water main and booster pump station design approved and permitted by VT Water Supply Division and construction phase engineering services.

Act 250 Permit Preparation for Subdivision | Grafton, VT | 2011

Completed a detailed application that addressed the ten criteria that the development had to satisfy to obtain the permit, including issues surrounding water or air pollution, water supply, soil erosion, traffic congestion, educational and municipal services, wildlife habitat and planning. Services also included on-site water and septic system design and permitting.

Multi-lot subdivision involving engineering design of on-site water supply and wastewater disposal and environmental permit acquisition for Subdivision and Wastewater System and Potable Water Supply permits. Other similar projects include numerous residential developments throughout southern Vermont and New Hampshire.

Wall Street Apartments

Wall Street Apartments | Springfield, VT | 2004

Consulting Engineer to Architect for the site plan design for renovation of an existing 13-unit apartment building including a 220-foot handicap-accessible concrete sidewalk from off-lot parking area to building, new potable water/fire sprinkler service, municipal sewer and storm drain connections and State Water/Wastewater Permit. Similar nonprofit housing project for the Howard Block, Bellows Falls, VT. Both projects were a collaboration between RACLT and Housing Vermont.

Windy Hill Mobile Home Park

Windy Hill Mobile Home Park | Springfield, VT | 2001

This 2001 project involved the engineering planning, design and construction phase services of a complete renovation of an existing public community water system serving 75 mobile homes. It included a 24,000 gallon reservoir, a chlorination/metering facility and over 4,500 feet of new water mains. The project was funded through the Vermont Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF). Another, more recent project with HFI/Windy Hill MHP, related to DWSRF program and the preliminary engineering for water metering and water conservation measures. HFI is a not-for-profit housing organization.
